Nambyar Street, or
Lebuh Nambyar, is a minor road in
George Town, Penang. It is a no-through road in the Dato Kramat area. Nambyar connects to Market Cross (Lintang Pasar) on one end.
The actually location of Nambyar Street is erroneously placed by Google Maps (as of July 2014). The road that is labeled "Nambyar Street" on Google Maps is actually an unnamed road with addresses on Western Road and York Road. The actual location of Nambyar Street is shown in red.
Nambyar Street was named after P.K. Nambyar a Malayalee lawyer. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1893 and was called to the Bar at Inner Temple (in London) in 1894.

Nambyar founded the Penang Indian Association in 1924.
2, of which he served as president until 1927, and passed away the following year. Nambyar also established the Indo-Ceylonese Association of Penang in 1906.
P.K. Nambyar held the distinction of being the first Indian advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Straits Settlements and the Federated Malay States.
