From Bukit Mertajam town, go along Jalan Kulim (the main road leading to Kulim, Kedah). After the road passes the
St Anne Church, go another 1120 meters to arrive at the junction to Jalan Kolam on your left. Turn left at the junction after Kedai Runcit Tugu Harapan (see street view below).
The junction to Jalan Kolam is on the left.
Jalan Kolam has Malay kampung houses on both sides. Go along the road until you leave the kampung behind and see a palm oil plantation surrounding you. Almost as soon as you see the palm trees, look for the junction on your right. Take this side road to reach Nandaka Vihara Buddhist Monastery. Near the junction is a Chinese temple. Pass this temple and go for another half a kilometer to reach Nandaka Vihara Buddhist Monastery, which is on your right. The road is bumpy but you won't miss the entrance when you arrive.
