Naning Street, or
Lebuh Naning, is a minor road in
George Town, Penang. It connects Macalister Road to
Seang Tek Road, with junctions to
Lorong Seratus Tahun and
Irving Road.
Naning Street was named after the district of Naning in present-day Malacca. Formerly part of Negri Sembilan, it was annexed by the British into Malacca in 1832 in the Naning War, which forced Dol Said, the leader of Naning, into retirement.
