Ngor Teik Kong Temple (16 December 2012)
Ngor Teik Keong Temple (GPS: 5.46346, 100.30775) 伍德宮 (Penang Hokkien: Ngor1 Teik1 Keong1

) is a small Taoist temple in Tanjong Tokong, Penang. Its full name is 檳本頭公嶼伍德宮. It is located on the left side of the lane leading to the famous Tanjong Tokong Tua Pek Kong Temple. The temple has a temple arch facing the lane.
From the name of the temple, we can say that the principal deity here is Pun1 Thau3 Kong1

本頭公. During feast days of the deity, the temple often stage performances such as puppet plays for the entertainment of the deity.

Getting there
Take Rapid Penang bus
101,
102 or
103 to Tanjong Tokong, alighting at the bus stop near the Tanjong Tokong Pedestrian Bridge. From there, walking down the lane between the Tanjong Tokong flats until you see the arch of the Tanjong Tokong Tua Pek Kong Temple ahead of you. Just before arriving at the arch, you will see another arch on your left. Go through this arch to reach the Ngor Teik Keong Temple.
