Kau Keng ChuThe 9 Shophouses of Kek Chuan Road @ Kau Keng Chu (26 October 2011)

The Nine Shophouses of Kek Chuan Road is a row of restored pre-war shophouses on Kek Chuan Road. It was given that name, or in Hokkien as "Kau1 Keng3 Chu3", as there are nine in the row. This is often written as 9KC.

Since the restoration of the Kau Keng Chu, another row of shophouses has been similarly restored. The Pink Row along Kimberley Street is a row repainted in shocking pink. Nine shophouses in rainbow colours (26 October 2011)
