Old Penang Hotel (GPS: 5.413076, 100.327626) is a hotel along Trang Road in George Town, Penang. It occupies a row of restored Late Straits Eclectic-style terrace house that was built in the early 20th century. Until its restoration which was completed at the end of 2010, the Old Penang Hotel was known as Trang City Lodge.

Old Penang Hotel is just a stone's throw from the city centre, as measured by Zero Mile at Magazine Circus. It is also a short distance from another branch of the hotel, the Old Penang Hotel (Penang Times Square). Within walking distance are several large shopping centres and malls, among them Gama Department Store, Penang Times Square, Komtar, 1st Avenue Mall and Prangin Mall. Getting there

You can walk to the Old Penang Hotel from the Komtar Bus Terminal. Go along Tek Soon Street until Penang Road, turn left, go along Penang Road until Magazine Circus, then cross to Brick Kiln Road. Trang Road is the first junction on the right. Go along Trang Road and you will arrive at Old Penang Hotel on your right, after the junction of Tongkah Road.
