Pavilion Coffee, Presgrave Street (1 June 2013)
Pavilion Coffee is a Chinese-style restaurant at
Presgrave Street, George Town. Like many Chinese-style restaurants, Pavilion Coffee has dark-brown furniture (similar to those at Chopperboard). The flooring is the Western-style floor tiles traditionally found in Straits Eclectic shophouses.
Pavilion's menu comprises mostly Chinese fare with some Western elements. Among the dishes available here include Chinese-style (or should I say, Taiwanese-style) fried noodles, toast that appears like a modern take on
roti babi, and the traditional Chinese vermicelli dish,
mee suah tau.
