Graffiti art by Ezul at Penang Graffiti Park (13 April 2013)
Penang Graffiti Park is a park within the Penang Municipal Park. It was unveiled by the Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, on 20 September, 2012. It was part of the programme during the 5th TPO (Tourism Promotion Organisation) Forum 2012.
The Penang Graffiti Park was made possible through the support of the Rotary Club of Tanjung Bungah, a long-time supporter of the Penang Municipal Park, and the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP). It was built at a cost of RM150,000.
The Penang Graffiti Park allows people to use the walls to paint their graffiti art. Art students, universiti students as well as the general public are allowed to apply with the Municipal Council of Penang. The art will be displayed for a minimum period of one month before it is painted over with white paint for others to reuse.
As of April 2013, there are pieces of art at the Penang Graffiti Park. Perhaps the best known artwork at the Penang Graffiti Park is the 3D Waterfall, painted by the Wall Art Team of Ibox Glass. Other pieces of art at the park are shown below.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
