Penang On 6 is an arcade on Level 6 of Gurney Paragon. The outlets are done to re-create the period façade of Straits Eclectic shophouses in George Town.

In addition to the murals inside Penang on 6, there are now also two additional ones on the outer walls depicting Penang trishaws.

Penang Hill Roller Coaster Railway 3D Mural

The Penang Hill Roller Coaster Railway 3D Mural is an interactive wall art installed at the Penang on 6 Arcade at Gurney Paragon. It depicts a Penang Hill railway train emerging from the wall on roller coaster tracks that spin downwards into the abyss below. Depending on your position, you can get your shot at though you are standing in the air.

Updates

24 August, 2013: After receiving complaints (and threats of legal pursuit) from the artist, Penang On 6 has replaced the murals with photos of shophouse façades. The side wall shows a photo of Stewart Lane at the junction with Love Lane.

8 August, 2013: It has been reported that permission was not sought from the artist before their paintings were used in the murals. This has generated complaints from the artists as well as those who were in the know. Due to this, the murals have been removed.
