Penang Rifle Club (GPS: 5.43653, 100.29051), also called Kelab Menembak Pulau Pinang, is a club exclusively for members of the defence force. Founded on 26 January, 1954, the club draws members from the Malayan Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, the Federation of Malayan Reconnaisance Corps, the Malayan Auxiliary Air Force, the Royal Malaysian Police and Police Volunteer Reserve, and the Civil Defence Corp. The club is not open to the general public. It is set up to provide firearms training to members of the defence force, and to ensure that the members are aware of the rules in the use and keeping of firearms.

Penang Rifle Club has its clubhouse along Jalan Kebun Bunga, near the main entrance of the Penang Botanic Gardens.

Getting there

The Penang Rifle Club is located on the south side of Jalan Kebun Bunga. You can reach it by taking Rapid Penang bus 10.
