Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, Batu Kawan (23 May 2005)


The Penang State Stadium (GPS: 5.26107, 100.43759), also called Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, is located in Batu Kawan, a new township being developed. It has a capacity of 40,000 spectators, and was completed in 2000, after the Government decided to turn Batu Kawan into the third township in Penang after Bayan Baru and Seberang Jaya.

Getting there

Exit the North-South Expressway at Exit 158 (Bukit Tambun Interchange), then take Jalan Bukit Tambun (P172) heading west to reach the Penang State Stadium.
