Permatang Kuala (GPS: 5.50546, 100.3919) is a rural area in Penaga, on the northern part of the Penang Mainland. The village is served by a single road, also called Jalan Permatang Kuala, which connects the Butterworth Main Road (Federal Route 1) in the south with Jalan Penaga (State Route P1) in the north. The road passes through a rural area with nothing of remarkable significance.
