My wife and I visited Phở Việt Cafe for the first time on 10 January, 2017, and was warmly greeted by Ms Grace Vu. Ms Quynh Nhu's husband Alex was also around to make us feel at home, while she was busy preparing the dishes in the kitchen.
Phở Việt has prepared a few dishes that are either representative of Vietnam or signature dishes of the cafe. The dishes we tried that evening included the Vietnamese Beef Noodle or Phở, which is possibly the most common Vietnamese main dish known outside Vietnam. Also not to be missed are the Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls, which is the most popular Vietnamese snack. Other items we tried that evening included the Vietnamese Pan Cake, the Grilled Chicken Rice Set and the Dried Chicken Noodle.
The Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls have large prawns, lettuce and Vietnamese noodles in it. It is most unusual for me to eat a springroll with noodles inside, but it tastes good.
The Vietnamese Pancake is excellent. The pancake, or crepe, is absolutely crispy. Its stuffing is lightly boiled squid and enoki mushrooms, so a bite into the pancake introduces a combination of textures.

For drinks, Phở Việt let us try the Markisa Juice and the Vietnamese Drip Coffee. I enjoy the drinks very (yes, I try both). The coffee really has the "kick". Making it is a process which I will explain separately. I liked it so much that I asked to buy the coffee as well as the dripper home. The restaurant was so kind to give me a pack as well as the dripper.

After we finished our meal, we were also served the desserts. We had the banana cake and the coconut jelly.
