Pelangi Ramadan Buffet at Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort, Penang (23 April 2019)


Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort is holding a Ramadan buffet this year. Themed Pelangi Ramadan Buffet, it will run from 13 May until 2 June 2019, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The buffet is priced at RM65 nett adult and RM40 nett child aged 5-11. For every 9 purchases, one is given free.

Pelangi Ramadan Buffet Preview

This year, my wife and I had the privilege of sampling the buffet prepared by Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort in Tanjung Bungah, Penang. It is the first time we tried the Ramadan buffet here. The preview was held at Breeze Cafe, the hotel's main dining outlet. Lots of guests, including students from Sekolah Menengah Khas Persekutuan, were invited to the event. Some of the students provided the guest a traditional dance performance at the launch of the buffet, which was officiated by the hotel general manager, Mr Gulab Mahatam Rai.

There was a lot of food to be enjoyed at the preview, with the star attraction being the kambing golek or grilled lamb. Other items include mee goreng mamak, satay, nasi minyak, kuih, and other items. Let me show you what we had.
