Dinner at Red ChopsticksDinner at Red Chopsticks (11 November 2018)

It has been a while since we last ate at Red Chopsticks. Lately, we have been so busy with so many dining invitations that we had no chance. So when we had a vacant evening, we decided to pay the restaurant a return visit.

For our meal, I had the "Giant" tau eu bak set while my wife the "King" nasi biru set. On top of that, we also ordered the laksa set, for we always enjoyed the laksa here.

My tau eu bak was served with lotus-leaf rice and sambal. My bowl of tau eu bak includes large chunks of meat, an egg and chunks of tau knua. Very nice. The laksa set includes two springrolls, which are very crispy, and two keropok lekor. There's also a cendol as dessert.

My wife's nasi biru comes with a large chicken thigh, vegetables, crisps, spicy brinjal, ikan bilis and petai, This is served with asam pedas.

I enjoyed my lotus leaf rice very much. It goes well with the sambal and the tau eu bak. On the whole, it was a very delicious dinner. The only drawback was the cendol, which we found to be on the frozen side. Other than that, it was an enjoyable meal.
