Green Treasure Point (GPS: 5.42093, 100.32928) is a restaurant in
George Town, Penang. Located on
Hutton Lane, it offers a fusion of Hainanese and Nyonya cuisines. The speciality here is
buah keluak, which is cooked with pork belly.
Green Treasure Point is decorated with plants and bird nests. There are bromeliads, air pants and various other house plants in the restaurant. The wall decoration reflects the environment-conscious approach of the owners. An outstanding decorative item is the clock, which is decorated with
buah keluak to form the appearance of a hanging bird nest.

My visits to Green Treasure Point

My wife and I were invited to a meal at Green Treasure Point. We ate buah keluak with pork belly, Curry Tumis White Pomphet, Jiu3 Hu2 Char4, Hainan Springroll and Inchekabin. The springroll is served with ang3mor3 tau33iu2 (local version of Worchestershire sauce).
It was a delicious meal that I enjoyed so much (and took extra rice).
