Spink in the Sky (GPS: 5.40206, 100.27773) is a rooftop restaurant in Ayer Itam, Penang. It is located on the rooftop of DeView Hotel. Winner of the 2022 International Prestige Brand Award, the restaurant offers dining within bubble-shaped enclosures while surrounding by the uninterrupted view of the hills of Ayer Itam.

Visit to Spink In The Sky

My wife and I visited Spink In The Sky at the proprietor's invitation on Tuesday, 19 September 2022. Parking was plentiful at DeView Hotel. We took the lift to the rooftop, where the restaurant is located, and were warmly greeted when we arrived. The staff led us to our table, which is wihin one of those glass bubbles.

Before we partake of the dinner, we took the chance to explore the grounds. The view was simply breathtaking. We have the Kek Lok Si Temple right in front of us, with Farlim and Paya Terubong within sight.

We had a most sumptuous dinner. There was noodle with lobster, surely the piece de resistance of this dinner. But not to be outdone, there was also the Triple Tasty Fish Fillet. And on top of that, we were served various side dishes. Let me show you below.
