We had a lovely dinner last night at Xiang Yun Vegetarian House at Bayan Point, Penang. I ordered the curry chicken set while my wife at the Hainanese Chicken Rice set. We also ordered the lorbak set and stir-fried brinjal. Total was RM40.80.

I visited Xiang Yun Vegetarian House for the first time on 31 October 2020. I had wanted to visit it earlier, but the restaurant was full house due to Nine Emperor Gods Festivities. This time, the festival is past, and I was able to easily get a seat.

On this visit, we ordered the Claypot Indian Curry (RM16.90), Stir-fried Chye Sim (RM8.90) and Stir-fried Brinjal (RM8.90). These were taken with white rice. The dishes were all delicious. I enjoyed both the Indian curry and the stir-fried brinjal very much.

There used to be an outlet of Xiang Yun at Vantage in Tanjong Tokong, but it has since ceased operated.
