Restoran De Nasir Biryani (GPS: 5.41956, 100.33018) is a Pakistani nasi biryani restaurant along Transfer Road, in George Town, Penang. I learned about it from its Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/DeNasirRestoran?fref=ts), and judging the book by its cover, my wife and I decided to make a trip there to try it.

What we found was really a dingy coffee shop with a nasi kandar-like stall where you order your rice or nasi biryani, with accompanying dishes. The choices were quite limited. I chose two types of chicken and a vegetable dish to go with my nasi biryani, while my wife had chappati. I have to say the meal was only so-so (the chicken was a bit on the dry side), nothing to shout about, though not particularly expensive.
