Restoran Lye Lee is a porridge shop at The One Penang Cybercity in Bayan Baru, Penang. This is the second outlet of Lye Lee after the one in Farlim. The shop began operations on 19 August, 2013. We stumbled onto it one evening when my wife was looking for dinner (I had already eaten). I managed to try a spoonful from her bowl. It was quite tasty, so we planned another visit when I have a chance to order a bowl.

We returned to Restoran Lye Lee on 31 August, 2013. We ordered a bowl of seafood porridge (RM15) and a bowl of frog-leg porridge (RM7). From these, we shared out between the two of us. I suppose these are a bit pricey, but what can we expect, as porridge prices seem to be around there nowadays. Both are quite meaty. If you enjoy Chinese porridge, you should give Restoran Lye Lee a try.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Mahsuri, in front of The One. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 302, 303, 304, 305, 307, 308, 309 and 401E.
