Cititel Penang Ramadan Buffet Preview (26 April 2019)


With the holy fasting month of Ramadan around the corner, Cititel Penang joins many of the hotels in Penang is preparing a buffet specially for the occasion. This year, the theme is Masakan Citarasa Malaysia Buffet. It will be available Sundays to Thursday from 19 to 23 May and 26 to 30 May, from 6:30pm to 9:45pm. The buffet is priced at RM85 nett adult, RM43 nett child (6-12) and RM60 nett senior citizen (55 and above).

In addition to this, Cititel Penang will hold the Riang Ria Buffet Lunch on the 1st and 2nd Day of Hari Raya, from 12:00 noon to 3pm. This is priced at RM63 nett adult, RM31 nett child and RM44 nett senior citizen. All the meals are at the hotel's main dining outlet, Main Street Café.

Preview of Cititel Penang's Ramadan buffet

It is always a joy for me to visit Main Street Café for meals, so it was a pleasure for my wife and me to accept an invitation from the hotel to sample their Ramadan spread. This was held on 26 April, 2019.

We arrived at the hotel quite early. At that time, the restaurant team was still putting up the various dishes, which line the dining hall, all along the side and at central aisle. In addition to various Malay traditional items, there was also seafood on ice, sushi, sashimi, desserts, and cakes. Let me show you a good many of the items we enjoyed that evening.
