It's a delicious Christmas at Lexis Suites Penang. The hotel is planning buffets at their flagship Roselle Coffee House for the Christmas weekend, and has invited my wife and me, to join other invited guests to a food review. The buffet is handled by the Lexis's Executive Chef, Chef Lim, who is instrumental in putting together the spread.
There will be three buffets this Christmas weekend. They include the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner (priced at RM100 nett per adult/RM45 nett per child/RM60 nett per senior citizen) on 24 December from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, the Christmas Day Buffet Brunch (RM88 nett/RM35 nett/RM50 nett) on 25 December from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm, and the Christmas Day Seafood Fiesta Buffet Dinner (RM108 nett/RM54 nett/RM76 nett) on 25 December from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. It was indeed a delicious buffet that greeted us. There was everything, from soup and cold cuts to seafood and entrées and a huge array of desserts. There was so much to eat, I only managed to try a small selection of the food. Almost everything was delicious, and items that particularly stood out for me was the scallop and the chocolate mousse - which I had at the end of my meal, when I was already quite full, but was so delicious, I wish I had more room for another!
I thank Lexis Suites Penang for their warm hospitality on this food review. Here are some of the photos I took there.

About this website
Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
