Asian Hotpot Buffet Dinner

My wife and I were invited by Sunway Hotel Georgetown for a media review of their Asian Hotpot Buffet Dinner, which is held every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. There is free flow of beer. The buffet is priced at RM80 nett for adults, RM65 nett for senior citizens, and RM50 nett for children (kids eat free with every paying adult, terms and condition apply) with prices subject to change. To make a reservation, contact Sun Café at +60 4 229 9988.

We arrived at Sunway Hotel Georgetown and met up with our other blogger friends and members of the print media. A round table has been prepared for us. Various raw and semi-cooked items were also arrayed for us. We were told that the buffet is available even for single guests, who will be provided the hot pot with a choice of two different soups.

In addition to the raw and semi-cooked items, there is also savoury dishes, salads, fruits, desserts and other items at the buffet. Needless to say, we ate to our hearts' content. In addition to the hot pot, both my wife and I particularly liked the bihun and the fried rice, both of which were very nicely prepared. We also enjoyed the brownies, especially me, as I love food with chocolate.
