There are five dining outlets at Royal Chulan Penang, namely Sri Tanjung Café, Tea Room, Heritage Lounge, The Spice and Poolside Bar. The hotel has a swimming pool, a gym and a spa. It also has meeting and conference facilities as well as a banquet hall which can be used for wedding banquets as well as corporate events, annual dinners and seminars.
Royale Chulan Penang is located within the core zone of the George Town World Heritage Site. Getting there by bus
You can take Rapid PenangCAT. The Weld Quay Bus Terminal is just a short walking distance away. From there you can get almost all the buses that ply Penang Island.

Royale Chulan Penang has function rooms and halls of various sizes to cater for everything from business meetings and seminars to conferences and wedding banquets. Largest of these is The Royale Ballroom, which covers 487.68 sqm and can accommodate 500 banquet diners. Next in size are Boustead Halls 1 & 2, each with a floor area of 122.64 sqm. There are four meeting-size function rooms namely Georgetown, Batu Ferringhi, Tanjung Bungah and Pulau Tikus.

Before the building was The Royale Bintang Penang, it was the Boustead Building, where it housed Boustead Johan Edaran Sdn Bhd, Boustead Travel Services Sdn Bhd and National Car Rental. Next to it is the Schmidt Küstermann Building, which is also part of Royale Chulan Penang today.
