SEAMEO RECSAM, PenangSEAMEO RECSAM, Penang (20 September 2009)


SEAMEO RECSAM (GPS: 5.37647, 100.30829), or Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation, Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics, is an institute established in May 1967. It is located on the grounds of the Malaysian Teachers Training Institute (Institute Perguruan Persekutuan Pulau Pinang) in Gelugor. The organisation was established to enhance the quality of education in science and mathematics within the Asean region. It trains teaching staff from the Asean member countries as well as conduct research and development in the field of science and mathematics.
