Go BackSekolah Kebangsaan Teluk Kumbar was originally the Telok Kumbar Primary School. It was established under the British administration in 1882. In the beginning, it was a school Malay school located near the sea. In 1926, a new building was erected for the school, and the original structure was demolished in 1933.
During the Japanese Occupation, the pupils were moved to the Telok Kumbar Chinese School. A new building for the school was built in 1955. Over the years, additional structures were erected. The present building was completed in 1989 through funding from the World Bank.
