Our homemade Shanghai Pancakes (6 November 2016)
Shanghai Pancakes are like flattened "hum chim peng". They are filled with red bean paste (also known in Hokkien as or3tau33sah1). My wife decided to make them for our teatime today. They are crispy on the outside, and sweet on the inside.
My wife doesn't usually refer to recipe, but to make Shanghai pancake, she referred to the recipe by Agnes Chang. Here's the cook book from which we got the recipe, in case you want to make your own.
