Silverdale Condominium is a condominium project being developed by Boon Siew Group Property in Penang. Located at Persiaran Perak, it comprises three blocks of 45-storey condominiums and one 26-storey block of low-medium cost apartment. The standard units at Silverdale will have a floor area of 1,200 sqft. There is a total of 590 units. The condominium promises to provide spacious living for its occupants, with just six units for floor.

Silverdale Condominium will be one of the tallest condominiums to be erected in the Perak Road neighbourhood of George Town. It will certainly being from development to an otherwise backwater neighbourhood of the city.

Location

Silverdale Condominium is a mere 1.8 km from Komtar, making it ideal for those who works in the city, or who wish to stay not far from the heart of George Town. The surrounding view will however be one of skyscrapers and more skyscrapers.

Traffic

The already congested Perak Road will come to a stand still during rush hour, unless the road is further widened. This is certainly not the only property development in the area. My hope is that, having approved this development, the state authorities will ensure public infrastructure development goes in tandem with the construction.

Public Transport

Rapid Penang Bus 11, 101, 104 and 304 pass through Perak Road.

Amenities

The nearest petrol station is the Shell outside the City Stadium along Perak Road. The nearest schools include SJKC Tong Sian, SJKC Convent Dato Kramat and Francis Light School. The nearest markets are the Dato Kramat Market and Kuantan Road Market. The nearest shopping centre is Penang Times Square. The nearest hospital is the Penang General Hospital.
