Ang Mo Kio Town Garden East, Singapore
Ang Mo Kio Town Garden East (GPS: 1.37074, 103.85039) is a 5-hectare public park in
Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. It is one of the two major parks in the township, the other being the bigger Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West.
Ang Mo Kio Town Garden East is bounded by Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 to the west and Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 to the south. It was developed out of a former rubber plantation land. In preserving it for public use, the park landscape designers have retained groves of the rubber trees, and have also added other trees which were once economically important to Singapore such as nutmeg and cinnamon.
