Baboo Lane, Singapore
Baboo Lane is a lane in
Singapore's
Little India. It connects
Serangoon Road to
Kampong Kapor Road, and traffic is one way, from the former to the latter. According to
Singapore Street Names1, the road name dates back to 1906, but nothing much else is known about it. Being a very narrow lane, it can only take traffic in one direction, so a no-entry post is placed at Baboo Lane junction to Kampong Kapor Road. Bollards are place across the road to prevent car traffic from passing through so Baboo Lane is only be travelled on foot or by bicycles and motorcycles.
