Boon Lay (GPS: 1.33857, 103.70586) is a "planning area" in the western part of
Singapore. It can be said to be within
Jurong. Booy Lay got its name from the late 19th to turn of the 20th century Singapore entrepreneur Chew Boon Lay who operated the Chew Boon Lay Rubber Estate in the area. There was a village here called Boon Lay Village.

District 22.
Boon Lay is surrounded by
Jurong West in the north,
Jurong East to the east,
Pioneer in the west, and the sea in the south. The planning area comprises four neighbourhoods (called "subzones") namely Liu Fang, Samulun, Shipyard and Tukang.
