Bugis MRT Station 
(GPS: 1.30106, 103.85596; EW12/DT14) is an underground station of the
Singapore MRT. It serves the
East-West Line, and is presently under renovation to receive the
Downtown Line in the future.
Bugis is located in Singapore Postal
District 07.
On the East-West Line, the Bugis MRT Station is between the
Lavender MRT Station (EW11) and
City Hall MRT Station (EW13). On the Downtown Line, it will be between the
Rochor MRT Station (DT13) and
Promenade MRT Station (DT15).
The Bugis MRT Station opened on 4 November 1989 for the East-West Line. It is located next to
Bugis Junction, and is linked to it. Within the vicinity of the station is
Bugis Village,
Sim Lim Square,
Kampong Glam and the National Library of Singapore.
