CapitaSpring (GPS: 1.28394, 103.84992) is a 51-storey commercial development in downtown
Singapore. It is located on
Market Street, between
Chulia Street and
Church Street, with a small section bordered by
Phillip Street. It is within the
Raffles Place subzone of the
Downtown Core Planning Area, in Singapore Postal District 01.
The developer of CapitaSpring is CL Office Trustee Pte Ltd, also known as CapitaLand. It has a basement, a shopping centre and a hawker centre. The tower block will house served apartments and offices along with a multi-storey car park and ancillary facilities.
CapitaSpring occupies a city block bordered by
Phillip Street,
Market Street,
Chulia Street and
Church Street in the
Raffles Place subzone of the
Downtown Core Planning Area.
The CapitaSpring building houses the
Market Street Hawker Centre on levels 2 and 3. The hawker centre, which previously occupied the Golden Shoe Car Park that previously occupied that site, was relocated to a temporary site at
Cross Street while the CapitaSpring building was being constructed. It returned to occupy the CapitaSpring building in April 2022.
Aside from the hawker centre, the CapitaSpring building also has a botanical promenade, called Green Oasis. It spirals from Level 17 to Level 20. Then at the rooftop, on Level 51, is the Sky Garden, which offers panoramic aerial views of the surroundings. It is the tallest observatory deck in Singapore.
