Newton, Singapore. It is within Postal District 9. The road connects
Cairnhill Road to
Emerald Hill Road. In between it branches to
Saunders Road.
Hullet Road was created in 1914. The road was named after English explorer William Hullet (1843-1914)
1. He arrived in Singapore in 1871, to become the principal of Raffles Institution, and he stayed in Singapore for the next 35 years, during which time, he was influential in the fields of language, education, conservation, exploration and botany.
