International Plaza, Singapore (8 July 2011)
International Plaza is a 50-storey skyscraper in
downtown Singapore. It is located along
Anson Road within the
Downtown Core. The building comprises a 7-storey podium and a 43-storey block over it containing office and apartment units.
International Plaza was completed in June, 1976, at a cost of S$52.8 million. Standing at a height of 190 meters (623 ft), it was one of the tallest buildings in Southeast Asia at the time of its completion. In Singapore, it was the second tallest skyscraper behind the OCBC Centre (201 meters). Until the construction of
The Sail @ Marina Bay in 2008, it was the tallest building with residential apartments in Singapore.
Office units occupy
International Plaza from the 9th to the 35th storey. On the 36th storey is a swimming pool, health club and facilities for residents. Residential units take up the 37th to the 50th floor of the builting, with four-bedroom penthouses on the top floor.

On foot, International Plaza is 130 meters from
Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15).
