Kallang (GPS: 1.31003, 103.865; Chinese: 加冷; Tamil: காலாங்) is a place (or in Singapore administrative nomenclature, an "planning area") in Singapore within the basin of the Kallang River, along with the Rochor River, Geylang River, Whampoa River and Pelton Canal. The area is surrounded by residential flats and factories.

The name Kallang comes from the Malay word for factory, which is kilang. It first appeared in the 1830 survey map by that spelling. Then in 1838, the place name was selled as Kelang. The place took on its present spelling in 1842.
