Kampong Bahru Road, Singapore
Kampong Bahru Road is one of the major road in downtown
Singapore. It connects
Eu Tong Sen Street and
New Bridge Road in the north with
Telok Blangah Road and
Keppel Road in the south. In between, it forms junctions with Jalan Bukit Merah, Bukit Teresa Road and
Lower Delta Road. Kampong Bahru Road also crosses the
Ayer Rajah Expressway on a flyover without an interchange between them.
Kampong Bahru Road was named after a village that was once located here after the railway line was deviated in 1932.
