The name Lentor comes from the Malay word for "pliable". The deco of the station depicts artwork by Tan Guo-Liang. The work is entitled
Interlude. It is created using mesh fabric, and it depicts musical notes and Chinese calligraphy. The artist states that the curving lines in the art reflects the name of the station, which is pliable or flexible.
