Mayo Street is a minor street in the
Sungei Road neighbourhood of
Rochor, Singapore. It connects
Jalan Besar on one end to
Perak Road on the other. Mayo Street is a one-way street with traffic flow from the former to the latter. The buildings along this street are in the Late Art Deco and Early Modern styles. According to
Singapore Street Names, the road was named after the
6th Earl of Mayo (1822-72), Richard Southwell Bourke.
