Orchard Road in
Singapore. The retail is spread over seven floors and two basements. It covers a total area of 497,575 sq ft (46,226 sq m). Plaza Singapura, which is presently owned by CapitaMall Trust and managed by CapitaLand, was designed by BEP Akitek and was officially opened on 16 August, 1975.
Anchor tenants at Plaza Singapura today include Carrefour, Marks & Spencer, Golden Village, John Little and Best Denki. Fast food outlets and restaurants here include Burger King, KFC, Long John Silver's, McDonald's, Mos Burger, Yoshinoya, Auntie Anne's, and Sakae Sushi.
When it first opened, the anchor tenant was Yaohan Department Store and Yaohan Best, which is now incarnated as Best Denki. Other past tenants include Liberty Market, Daimaru and Courts superstore.
