Pulau Berkas (GPS: 1.18982, 103.7369) is a small, low-lying island located to the south of Singapore. This uninhabited island is located to the east of Pulau Pawai, north of Pulau Senang, and to the southeast of Pulau Sudong.
The name Berkas has two different meanings in Malay. The older meaning of berkas means "bundle", as of firewood, while the present-day meaning of berkas is "to apprehend" or "to capture".
