Sentosa Express is a monorail service between VivoCity on the Singapore mainland and stations on Sentosa Island. The 2.1 kilometer line was built at a cost of S$140 million and was completed in December, 2006. It opened with three stations on 15 January, 2007, with the fourth and presently final station, the Resorts World Station, opening on 1 February, 2010.

The Sentosa Express can carry up to 4,000 passengers per hour on each direction. The line comprises dual tracks enabling two trains to pass in opposing directions.

There is a one-day pass called the Sentosa Pass which allows unlimited rides on the Sentosa Express and entry into the island. The card can be purchased from automated ticketing machines at the Sentosa Express stations. You can pay for it by cash, credit card or even use the EZ-Link card.

As of Dec 2019, the standard ticket to take the Sentosa Express from VivoCity to Sentosa Island is S$4.00.
