Standard Chartered Building (GPS: 1.28556, 103.8517) is a skyscraper in downtown Singapore. It is located at
Battery Road, occupying the site that has been used by Standard Chartered since 1859, when it was known as the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China.
The Standard Chartered Building is 44 storeys tall and was completed in 1984. At the time of its completion, it was the largest Standard Chartered building in the world and also the largest investment by the bank up to that time. The building housed that bank's corporate office until 2011, when it relocated to the
Marina Bay Financial Centre.
