Stevens Road is a major road in
Singapore. It connects
Bukit Timah Road, at the intersection with Whitley Road in the north, to
Scotts Road in the south. Branching out from Stevens Road are Robin Close,
Margoliouth Road,
White House Road, Stevens Drive,
Dalvey Road,
Stevens Close,
Fernhill Road, Robin Road,
Orange Grove Road,
Walshe Road, Balmoral Park Road,
Anderson Road,
Balmoral Road,
Draycott Park,
Goodwood Hill and
Draycott Drive. The entire Stevens Road is in
Tanglin, within Postal District 10.
According to

1, Stevens Road was named after E.S. Stevens, who was the Assistant Superintendent of the Indian Police Force in 1881. He brought in the first contingent of Sikhs to serve in the police force. On the northern end of Stevens Road is Stevens Bridge, which crosses the canal between Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road.
