Sungei Buloh Nature Park (GPS: 1.44727, 103.72608) is a 87-hectare nature park located adjacent to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The park comprises the mangrove area on mainland Singapore, at the estuary of Sungei Buloh, the island of Pulau Buloh, and a visitor centre.
The Visitor Centre provides information on the biodiversity of the park. It receives as many as 80,000 visitors per year, with pupils on school trips forming a sizable percentage.
At the Sungei Buloh Nature Park visitors get to learn about the trees of the mangrove forest and its ecology. Among the trees found here include the
Avicennia alba and the
Rhizophora apiculata.
