Suntec City Mall (GPS: 1.29304, 103.85696) is the second largest shopping mall in Singapore after Vivocity. Opened in 1995, it has 888,000 square feet of retail space, allowing it to house some 360 retail outlets within its L-shaped configuration. It is part of the Suntec City development. The mall is divided into four zones namely:
The Suntec Galleria, which is on the ground floor of the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, offering high-end international labels targeting convention delegates and tourists.
The Suntec Tropics, offering lifestyle merchandise and services for a wider spectrum of shoppers.
The Suntec Fountain Terrace, the food and beverage zone located around the Fountain of Wealth
The Suntec Entertainment Centre, on the northeastern end of the mall, housing the cineplex, fitness centre and gaming arcade, among others. The first Carrefour outlet in Singapore is also located here, occupying 140,000 square feet of space.
Going to Suntec City Mall by public transport
The nearest MRT station is the Promenade MRT Station DT15. The nearest entrance of Suntec City Mall from the station is at the roundabout near Temasek Boulevard, about 500 meters away. There is a bus stop in front of Suntec Convention Centre. It is served by bus 36, 70M, 97, 97e, 106, 111, 133, 162M, 502, 502A, 518, 518A, 531, 700A, 857 and 868.
