The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (GPS: 1.28512, 103.85929) is an upscale shopping mall in the Bayfront subzone of the Downtown Core of Singapore. It describes itself the world's largest collection of world-famous luxury brands. There are 270 premium luxury stores here, over an area of 800,000 square feet. Floating in the bay just outside the mall are two "crystal pavilions". In addition to shopping, The Shoppes has some 40 fine-dining restaurants. A prominent attraction of The Shoppes is the canal that runs through the retail area, similar to those at the Venetian and the Venetian Macao.
Many of the luxuries brands have set up outlets here, among them (in alphabetical order) Blancpain, Burberry, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Dior, Dunhill, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Hermès, Herve Leger, Miu Miu, Montblanc, Prada, Ralph Lauren, REDValentino, Salvatore Ferragamo, Vertu and Yves Saint Laurent.
Also within the resort are two crystal pavilions. One will house the biggest Louis Vuitton store in the world, while the other will house two world-renowned nightclubs, Avalon and Pangaea.
There are 40 fine dining restaurants at The Shoppes, of which five are helmed by celebrity chefs namely CUT (Chef Wolfgang Puck), DB Bistro Moderne (Chef Daniel Boulud), Guy Savoy (Chef Guy Savoy), Santi (Chef Santi Santamaria) and Waku Ghin (Chef Tetsuya Wakuda).
Restaurants for casual dining include Bazin, Fatt Choi Express, High Society, Jean Philippe Darcis, Pizzeria Mozza, Rise, Rise Lounge, South Coast, The Connoisseur Concerto, Todai, The Chocolate Bar, The Moluccas Room, TWG Tea Salon & Boutique, The Nest and The Tong Dim Noodle Bar.
For hawker fare, there is the Rasapura Masters food court, which covers 21,000 sq ft and has 960 seats. Snacks are available at Cold Rock Ice Creamery, Kraze Burgers, SweetSpot, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Java Detour.
