Woodlands Train Checkpoint (GPS: 1.4445, 103.76957) is a train terminus in
Singapore. Located in Woodlands, it is part of the integrated customs, immigration and quarantine complex. The Woodlands Train Checkpoint receives the Shuttle Tebrau, a dedicated train that plies between
JB Sentral in
Johor Bahru and the checkpoint. It also receives services of the Eastern and Oriental Express from
Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok.
The Woodlands Train Checkpoint was completed and became operational on 1 August, 1998. On 1 July 2011, it became the terminus for the KTM Intercity service. This changed once more, on 1 July, 2015, when the KTM Intercity services were truncated at JB Sentral, and passengers have to continue their journey on the Shuttle Tebrau.
