Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tanjong Bunga

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tanjong Bunga (GPS: 5.45759, 100.2925) is a national secondary school in Tanjung Bungah, Penang. Originally the Tanjong Tokong English School, it became the Tanjong Bungah English School when it moved to Tan Jit Seng Road in 1960. In the beginning it was a primary school, though secondary classes began to be held from 1965, and from 1968, the school officially split into the Tanjong Bunga Primary School and Tanjong Bungah English School (Secondary).

The Tanjong Bungah English School (Secondary) was eventually renamed Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tanjung Bunga while the Tanjong Bungah Primary School became Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Bunga. When the Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Bunga relocated to another site on Jalan Lembah Pantai in 1991, the secondary school took over its buildings.
