Residence @ Southbay is a low-density gated residential development. It comprises three-storey homes set in spacious grounds. There is a total of 288 units, each with a built-up area of over 3,000 sqft. The units come in two different types. Type A plots measure 24 ft x 75 ft while type B plots measure 22 ft x 75 ft.
Legenda @ Southbay are three- and four-storey bungalows. Southbay City comprises highrise condominium blocks and a shopping mall. Many of the projects here are still in various development and construction stages.

Traffic situation at Southbay
Traffic along Jalan Permatang Damar Laut is moderate to heavy, on account to it being a two-lane road. Access to Sunway Tunas Jaya is either through the
Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, Jalan Permatang Damar Laut from Bayan Lepas, or
Bund Road from Sungai Kluang. All the roads are congested during rush hour due to the proximity of the
Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone. Unless Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway is widened, the situation will worsen when the
Second Penang Bridge opens to traffic.
